Weddings at Islay House
There is a long tradition of Weddings being held at Islay House.
When seeking a special venue for the most special of days many Islay natives, the Ileachs, would historically ask the Laird if they could be married at 'the Big House'. Now we are bringing that tradition back and offering everyone the chance to hold their wedding day at Islay House.
Islay House integrates the romance and grandeur of a Scottish Country House with the luxury, style and exclusivity you would expect, making it the perfect setting for your special event. This historic gem is one of Scotland’s most exclusive and elegant venues located at the heart of the Whisky Isle and is licensed for Civil Ceremonies.

There are a number of options for wedding ceremonies, from the historic Servants Hall and Dining Room which can host ceremonies for up to 100 guests, to the naturalistic policy gardens overlooking Loch Indaal which are the perfect setting for an outside summer wedding.

Our lawns also offer the perfect space for a marquee for larger events.
We can offer the sole use of our function rooms, or even exclusive hire of the Hotel, including bedrooms, function rooms and The Peat Cutter Bar.
